FS: 97 White TT Supra Single Turbo 6 Spd in TN
After much thinking and debate, I’ve finally came to the conclusion that I’m going to be selling my Supra. I just purchased my first house (taking advantage of the $8k tax credit and the market woot!). I don’t necessarily have to sell the Supra, but I believe it will be a smarter move in the long run and will help a lot. So as much as I hate to do this, here we go. I’ll let the pictures and mods list do the talking.
The car:
1997 Toyota Supra TT (converted to single)
White exterior/Black interior
6 speed
80.5k miles
3rd Owner, clean title
JT2DE82A1V0037050
Engine Modifications:
AEM EMS
GM 3 bar map sensor
AEM 4" intake
PTE63 /.68 a/r
Boostlogic turbo blanket
HKS ABS heatshield
HKS DLI
Turbonetics cast manifold (ported)
Wrapped 3” Downpipe
Apexi N1 Evo exhaust
Titan Cam gears
Greddy 3row and piping
Tial 50mm BOV
Hallman ProRX MBC
Full Fuel System:
Boostlogic fuel rail
720cc Precision injectors
Braided lines
Earl's fittings
Aero FPR
Aero inline filter
Twin Denso pumps
Interior/Guages/Misc:
In pillar: AEM wideband controller
In dash: Greddy boost/fuel pressure/water temp (needs power hooked up to water gauge)
Alpine alarm system
6000k HIDs
Suspension:
JIC FLT-A2 Coilovers
Transmission/Drivetrain:
6-speed swap performed by www.stage6motorsports.com
with all NEW parts, including 6 speed trans (performed at ~65k miles)
Brand NEW HPF Feramic clutch and Toyota Steel Flywheel (installed at ~75k)
Wheels:
CCW Classics in Black with polished lip
18x9/18x11
N/A Brake Swap (so you can run 15” Drag wheels/tires)
BFG KDWII 245/40R18 Front
BFG KDWII 295/35R18 Rear (nearly brand new)
Interior is 9.5/10, except for a minor scratch on the drivers seat, no tear and for a small wear mark in the drivers floor board from my big foot lol.
Exterior is 9.5/10, except for 4mm chip on the rear bumper and a scratch on the drivers window. Previous owner said the car was in an accident in 1999, he repainted it as well. No dings.
The setup of this car makes for a perfect street car. The car gets full boost by 4000 rpms and makes plenty of power on regular 93 pump gas. It dyno’d 453whp/402wtq at TopSpeed on 17 psi and 93 oct. With race gas, more boost, and a retune the car should be capable of at least 600whp.
The car is setup great and runs perfect. Since I’ve owned the car the oil has been changed every 2500 miles with Mobil 1 10W30 and I’ve changed the spark plugs as many times with NGK 3330’s, it has been very well maintained and cared for. Also, the previous owner said the 60k mile maintenance had been taken care of.
As with any car there are two minor downsides I can think of. The radio won't read CD's and needs a fuse to be able to play AM/FM channels (fuse is pulled so antenna does not raise when you turn car on). Secondly, the car has a minor vibration issue at over 80 mph in what feels like the rear of the vehicle. The vibration can only be felt on a good smooth road (ie interstate) and only at these higher speeds. I'm not sure at this point where the source of the vibration is coming from. Other than these two small issues the car is perfect working shape.
I encourage serious buyers to call me at 423.650.3680 (cell) or 423.338.2027 (work/day), email me- mac_massengill@hotmail.com – or of course come by and check the car out. Like I said at the beginning, as much as I hate to do this, I think it’s going to prove the best route for me in the long run. Please keep in mind I do _NOT_ have to sell the car, so extremely lowball offers can just keep to themselves as they will be ignored. If the car doesn’t sell for what I want I’ll just hang onto it and enjoy it
One more thing to note, if my feedback on here is not enough I encourage you to check my same name on supraforums.com, svtperformance.com, and corvetteforums.com as well as my ebay store: http://stores.ebay.com/macs-tire-bin to see my feedback record on those sites.
Asking price- $33,000 OBO Before it get posted, no I'm not looking to trade for an Evo. As much as I would like to have another one it wouldn't do me any good as I do not need another toy right now. The only partial trades I'd be interested in would be for a newer model truck.
Thanks for looking and contact me with any further questions!
