stole your seats!

figured i'd share since i stole a little something from you folks

my leather seats were worn out after 20 years, did some serious research and comparison, finally came to the realization that the evo 8 seats were simply amazing and would fit the car perfectly.

i'll let the pics speak for themselves:

thanks for all the kind words folks!

gotta say getting the seats in took a bit more work than anticipated but very much worth it.

mitsu sure did something right with the evo seats throughout the recent years. you folks sure are fortunate

quite a pain in the butt actually i was going for factory mounting locations however and wanted to be certain the seats were as low as the factory seats, so that probably added a bit to it.

the inner brackets were fairly straightforward, the outer brackets took a bit more work. cutting and welding were required on all brackets, we modified the oem evo brackets to work.

total fabrication and fitment time was probably around 8 hours for both seats.
