Hello EvoM!
My name is James I was pointed here by someone else unsatisfied with mitsubishiforum.com. I poked around a bit and this appears to be a much more active board with better knowledge. I drive a 2011 Outlander Sport SE and I love it. I plan on adding some basic power adders soon, K&N filter or CAI, and anything else with good bang for your buck that wont blow my warranty.
Anywho, here's my ride:

Anyone else here from the Chicagoland area?

Im in the chicagoland area. I have a Ralliart and my fiance has an Outlander Sport. I like what you did with the front I think you should paint the wheels flat black or plasti dip them it would look awesome.
Thanks for the welcomes!
I am thinking about it... Not much to really do to these cars. I saw in the Outie Sport/RVR thread that Road Race did a similar grille on theirs with the red mitsu logo and that looks sharp too. I want to tint my tails in the near future... other than that I'm kinda at a loss for which way to go without dropping in an EVO X drivetrain (which I have no means of affording

Its a vinyl coating. I had it done by a place in town that does signs and lettering for businesses and police cars. I opted for the mock carbon fiber vinyl because the textured finish looked much better than flat black. He blacked out the horizontal bumper (where the plate mount would go) the crome trim around the grill, and the Mitsu logo for $120. For that little bit of money the front end. obviously, looks DRASTICALLY different, and that part of the car gets more compliments than any other. When someone see's it I usually get a "I like the big 'mouth' on the front" or "the 'mouth' looks mean"

Black front makes it even more evo like, luckily my cosmic blue SE is already dark enough where it won't matter much.
Welcome to the forums here, it's a nice daily driver that gets decent mileage. The K&N panel filter with a 4" intake leading from the front grill replacing the restrictive factory piece seems to be a really good combo for me. I also did the RRM lightweight pulley, RRM exhaust headers, and tuned it on the dyno. It's a good second faster to 60 mph now which gives it that edge it didn't have before against similar market cars.
Now that both my cars are on the road I can tinker more again so we'll see what this thing can do and still be 100% reliable.

Haha this is a month old, you and I have had several PM's and conversations about modding already
