In Line Converter for aftermarket subs...

Anyone have any pics where an in line converter would go and which wires to attach to? I have one in there now but its pretty crappy and only one channel works...

High to low level converter? tap into one of the rear speaker wires + and - and hopefully the converter or the amp have a low pass filter.
