Has anyone attempted putting exhaust on this platform? If so how did it turn out?

 

I'm thinking about doing a muffler delete and just running a pipe out the back. Has anyone tried this, if so how did it work out?

 

i ordered the obx 4-1 header a will let you know when it gets in and installed on how much modificfation it takes to the mid pipe for it towork, i am also thinking of running a 2 1/2" pipe back, magnaflow in line muffler, and cutting that huge muffer out of the rear. ill post up when complete

 

I took off the muffler and run pipe out the back with a tip. I also added a drop in K&N air filter. It has a lot better sound and boosted my gas milage. I'm happy with it.

A K&N filter will do a lot for mileage. I gained about 3MPG when I added a K&N drop-in

 

Yeah I boosted my mileage. I got about 1 mpg extra when dropped the muffler and about 2 - 3 mpg with the K&N.
