I was talking to Mike @ MDR Performance today, he does all the tuning and fab work on my EVO 9 MR, and he was telling me that the 4B11 lancers are doing stock EVO X cam swaps on N/A motors and finding strong HP increases?

Any one tried this yet on the Outlander Sport model?

He does not seem to think it will harm the CVT trans either, because it still will not be enough torque to cause any over loads.

When he gets finished up on my EVO I am going to get the Sport over to him so he can see if it will connect up to EVOSCAN so it can be tuned, with the mods I already have on it.

 

We've discussed it on here before, a while back. We have the exact same 4B11 so it should be identical gains for us. It's a pretty cheap mod for the gain IIRC. I just have no intention of diving that far into my still under warranty motor.

 

yeah it would be a down the road out if warranty mod for me for sure
