Questions about tuning?

Ok I have read about some people tuning the OS with ecuflash. So who has actually done it and had success? I have had ecuflash since it came out since I had my evo at the time and we retuned my car probably every other month or so. Also which tactrix cable is compatibale with the OS?

Also does anyone know anything about the RRM timing Module that is plug and play? Looking to purchase some upgrades or retune very soon.

Not sure on the RRM timing module, not sure if it's adjustable or just adds a set amount of timing. Without being able to adjust it on easily you would be forced to run 93 octane though.

With the right definition file you can adjust the timing tables 1-2* on 87 octane and 3-4* on 93 octane, but it's not going to be more than 5-10 hp range even with AFR tweaking. There really isn't a ton of power to be made on the stock engine combo, although keeping it in the sweet spot after some well placed mods is definitely a good idea and probably safer long term.

I dont think the rrm module is adjustable and I believe you have to run 89 and up.

As for Ecuflash, obviously the more aggressive the tune the higher the octane I should run. I Will be doing some mods coming up and just trying to figure out my best options.

I have put some mods on hold because I am picking up a 93 honda del sol si to serve as my commuter since I drive 98 miles round trip. once thats on the road and stuff then I will be getting into the outlander a little more. Just have to come up with a plan of attack first and tuning is always a must.
