Krakker,
Did your dealer mention how much the crated motor would be?

No, but I will call and ask.
So far they are liking the mods I've done and don't have a problem with how they are affecting the vehicle. They even took some looks underneath and the info I had on the hitch so that they could offer it as an option. Plenty of people want the option of a cargo or bike rack, that they are willing to accommodate them to make a sale.
Service manager also drives an EVO and even said "the better you can make it run, the happier you'll be". (just save the stock parts in case there's a "major" warranty claim)

how much different are the internals of the 4b11 in our engine and the 4b11T in the evo motor? couldnt you essentially build the stock motor up to match the 4b11t rather than buy a crate motor? Btw that RRE turbo kit cost about 5k. I dont know what they are thinking with that price. That lancer/O.S people are gonna drop that kind of coin on a turbo kit.. wrong price for that demo imo. But it does give a 100hp and compatiable with CVT.

I think 200hp to 220hp in this thing with the traction control off and 4wd lock on would be a blast! I am hoping it is achivable with an EvoX TB, EvoX injectors, RRM pulley, Greddy intake, upgraded plugs, full synthetic oil, and evoX oem cams, springs, and retainers. That combo with a AEM wide ban O2 and good amount of time on the dyno, should yeild good results, and not pose a threat to the CVT at all.
This is what i am hoping... fingers X'ed
Lowering the O.S. 2" with the 9" wide wheels i am running should make it handle like a SPORT model should.

Mitsubishi was formed by an old clan of samurai Shogun...
Their family crest was the "triple diamond" which was based on the shape of the 3 bladed katana they weld in battle. It's red because they chopped off many enemies' heads with it.

I just need to hit the lotto and I will swap a full evo X mr motor, trans, drivetrain into the outlander.....and then build it...... The space is thereI don't think it would be a horrible build except for tracking down all the parts and getting a good deal.

Trust me..
If/When you strike Lotto, the $$$$ will turn any and all "horrible-ness" with finding the parts & building into a walk on the beach.

You'll more likely get offers from legit tuners to help you with sourcing the parts and assembling your ride for exchange to have their name decal-ed on your transformed beast than requests for monetary compensation.

LOL I don't want to be shop backed, I want to go to my dealer order all my parts and install. I have a good idea of what it will involve...... I like to do my homework....

I would also start my own garage and race on weekends just because I could, lol I will need a staff too. I will be enlisting as soon as I hit it big!

You and I think alike.

Thanks man!
If I can only produce real parts as easily & quickly as I can make them virtually on the computer... I'd be a happy camper!

You will want some kind of 4 -> 1 Exhaust headers for sure, and the rest of the exhaust could use a bump to a 2.25" mandrel bent setup with a higher flow cat. Not sure of the springs and retainers are needed considering the car doesn't let you shift past 6200 on the CVT model. Now if we could figure out how to rev it higher then the springs and retainers would be a really good idea.

For those wanting to piece together a good turbo setup, the OEM Ralliart turbo or Evo X turbo plus supporting parts would make a good upgrade package. Just would need to sort out fueling, oil feed/return, and coolant lines. Are those RRE turbo kits using an front mounted intercooler or just running 5-10 psi and not worrying about the increased temps?
