Question Any Interest in "our own" Off Topic Section?

Paraphrased:

I tend to like to talk about other daily topics that's not directly associated with our Outlander Sports, such as upcoming movies, TV shows, etc. And, I would like to talk to (and get opinions from) OUR group of guys & gals instead of chatting with strangers in the wild like in TBR (The Back Room)...{TBR is a dark and scary place. Like the shadow lands from The Lion King. Avoid it at all costs. -Burtonrider1002} So, would it be possible to do so in this in subforum (specifically in our Outlander Sport)

A fellow member contacted me about starting a sub-section devoted to our own little chit-chat, and I can't help but agree with them that it's a good idea. Most of the rest of the site tends to be a different crowd, with different priorities and interests than most of the regulars here. We all seem to get along quite well, and seem to be getting to know each other fairly well, so this makes sense.

BUT, before bothering the evom Gods and Goddesses, I want to see who else would be interested in this. I don't want to go through the process of climbing a treacherous mountain to sacrifice a goat, a virgin, & a 4B11 just to have no one use the damn thing.

NOTE: This is not guaranteed either way, even if we have a ton of support the Admin may still shoot it down.

I would love a place to post whatever I want, but I don't really want to post in the evo m's off topic section since Outlander Sport owners are a breed of their own.

Off topic sections are normally a good way to break the monotony on busy forums, but it can't hurt by any means. I'm all for it.

I'm down.

The "pics that make you say WTF" is my favorite thread on rccrawler.com .
Lot's O laughs in that on.

Then of course there's politics, everyone LOVES talking politics.

Well, I was hoping for a little better response, but 5.5 vs. 1.5 ( the "Ehh" option counts as .5 to each side for my usage) is still a "Yes".

I'll discuss it with the site Admin and see what they say.
