Front right strut bottoming out?

It seems that when I go over small potholes my strut bottoms out. Or something else makes a horrid metal on metal noise and you feel it as though it's hitting the body. My car is a 14 with 2014. I took it to the dealer and they couldn't replicate the issue and told me to stop going over potholes. This issue happens when I drive into parking lots that have a dip in the road before entering. I don't know what to do anymore. Is there any issue with the strut tops or any recalls? I don't know what this could be. My suspension is firm but makes odd rattling noises going over bumps in the road.

Any photos of said potholes? Size & location??

And, can you get at least a cellphone video of the noise(s) as it happens in the parking lot?
So, as to give us a clear audio of what you're experiencing.

Oh and this came to mind, but not sure if it's directly related to your situation (Post#7)>

So far my best guess is that the top of the strut is maybe loose?

If that's the case, you better get it check out ASAP.
That would throw off your alignment and lead to excessive tire wear AND poor MPGs.

I have this same problem on my 2014 evo. Dealer told me they couldn't replicate it, and I complained about it the first day I got the car. Happens on some pot holes, but more often it's happening when I take a right turn and there is a dip in the road, or if I'm turning right onto to a driveway or even reversing out of the driveway.

Exactly the issue I am having. I am pretty sure my strut is bottoming out and there are no bump stops.
