Horse Power / engine up grades

Make a sticky please.
Need to make it easier on finding "engine stuff". Looking at keeping this for long term (wife actually like it, says it fits and makes sense) Anyway, I'm looking at doing the timing module, then doing cams, injectors and TB. exhaust down the road, but like others, I'm looking to hit the 200-220+ mark without adding a turbo.

Intake and crank pulley have done good, but after the pulley, I've got lag in what would be 2nd gear. (needs more pedal input then have to back off) unless using the paddle shifters, but the wifes not that good at it. (I hate this trans!)
I'm thinking power is the only thing that'll overcome the darn thing, so with power comes torque and this thing NEEDS it.
I don't want to break the bank, but I'd like o make this thing enjoyable and actually SPORT. (yeah, bad pun I know)

So, where's the power/engine links???

There really aren't any other than what you've mentioned, and the problem is torque is what kills CVT's

So no performance sticky???
There's only a few of us that have tackled more than the intake, I'd like to see one area where we could find them, maybe merge some threads into it or tech parts from a few builds so others (and me) can weight the pro's/cons of mods and see what's working for others.

It's just a bog standard family car, much like a Sonata. Why even bother? Just buy the correct car for the job.

Seriously??? Much like a Sonata??? Are you trying to start crap or just being a tread troll? Why are you even here if you have the right car for the job? you shouldn't need any info on upgrades.

Why Mod?? Because I can!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably the main reason there are forums for just about every car out there, so people can share and learn what others are doing to personalize their ride.
Why put a GTR drive train in a Nissan Juke? Cause the freakin' Arab wants one.
SEMA,, bring me power.

Not to sound mean but how is your wife not good at paddle shifting? Is it even possible to be bad at something that simple.

Not good at it is a bad explanation I spose. She just doesn't like to use them cause she's not used to them. Old school maybe, either a "real" manual or just plain auto.
Drives my jeep the same way too even tho the shifter's like the auto-stick mode. (B&M pro ratchet)

Yeah that is a much better way to explain it. There is no way she could be "bad" at paddle shifting ha ha. Not preferring it is a different story.

I no longer get left behind at the traffic stop once it goes green. Overtaking is also much more responsive. The Unichip sticker on my window likewise scares the hell out of the bit*hes who normally refuse to give way. >:->

Unichip installation+tuning+dyno took about 5 hours. The shop did everything, I just watched. =B)
