new to outlander sport forum :)

Hi guys just bought a 2014 outlander sport touring for a family car since my 2010 ralliart is a toy car for me. So i have 250 miles and already want to mod it but i ran into a problem i purchased a slightly used intake locally of someone who had a 2012 lancer 2.0 but when i went to install my sensor is different? Anyone else run into this problem? Seems like now im stuck with this intake so i might have to put it for sale

not sure if the changed the MAF sensor on the 2014 models or not. I have the 2011 model and it was the same as the lancer. Hopefully one of the guys here with a 2014 model can help you out a bit more. did you see it while it was on his lancer? Or is he just saying it came off of it?

p.s. glad to have you as part of the group!

Welcome to the forum.

I know I've mentioned the specific difference on the 2014 MAF vs 2013s before... from another new member that had the same issue. (I can't recall the exact post that it was in.. though.)

Any how, I don't believe there's a new mount made (Yet) for this "new type/oval" MAF... So, you're kind of SOL.

Mitsu keeps changing things by making basic items - into these odd shape and sizes, it's difficult to keep track of. Especially when they do it EVERY 2 years or so. It's maddening!
Gives me a headache.
