Immobilizer Problem
Heyooo,
So funny story. Yesterday my window came off the track (turns out its totally broken and needs a part replaced). I used this link: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ou...-problems.html to remove the door panel to find this out.
I put the door panel back on, and now the car won't start OR turn all the way off (some sort of anti-theft mode?). I understand this could be an immobilizer issue? according to this https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ou...-problems.html
This is an 11 OS SE with keyless entry and push button start, is there a way to bypass the smart key and override the immobilizer?
Any help or advice would be appreciated thanks.

Unfortunately your diagnosis is very brief. No wonder that people are not chipping in with ideas. I have to ask you to give us more details.
You said:
Which one? FL, FR, RL, RR, tailgate?
You also mention:
1. Have you been able to start the car before taking the door panel off?
2. If the car does not start how can it be not off? Is it an intermittent problem? Sometimes the car starts and other times you are unable to turn it off completely to lock the car and leave, is that so?
3. Have you attempted taking the panel off again, reconnect the wires for the window and locking/unlocking harnesses? Have you checked the door opening cables (blue and yellow sticks)? They must be in a certain place in a certain orientation.
4. Did your car lock and unlock all the doors properly after the incident before and after taking the door panel off?
5. Do you have remote start installed?
6. Most importantly, do you get any warning light on the central display? If the problem is with the immobilizer you should get an icon illuminated as post #6 shows in the thread you quoted:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ou...-problems.html.
My bet would be that the failure of the window mechanism (I suspect your window fell off the track) may have damaged some wires or components. For example the side impact sensors or its wiring (that is why it it is vital that you specify the window to locate what could be around). However, this would have triggered the SRS failure light to come off in your center display.
It is also quite possible that you have a KOS ECU, KOS battery, or KOS communication problem. See also this thread:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ou...-problems.html. These problems seem to be occurring only on cars with KOS. Nobody reported any door locking or starting problem with cars equipped with keys.
Nonetheless, there has to be some error message that your car should communicate. Let us know all the details you have.

This thread below may also be useful for you and for those, who had problem locking and unlocking the doors with KOS (remote or the button on the door handle). This programming (no ETACS Decoder or Diagbox is needed, but I have not verified whether it works or not, so the burden is on you if you try).
This could be good to add another KOS remote or attempt to restore communication (re-synchronize the rolling code).

Also, there was a TSB for similar problem for Lancers and Outlanders few years ago. Apparently electronic devices, such as cellphones may cause interference and throw off the programmed data:
