New member with a question..

I've been reading this forum for a couple days now and have already come across a great deal of useful information. I am getting really close to pulling the trigger on purchasing a 2015 OS SE 4wd with the premium package(panoramic roof, "9" speaker system).

I'd just like to ask, is there anything you wished someone had told you (good or bad) before you purchased your OS?

thanks in advance

Pro:
For the price, you will not find another SUV/CUV with:
1. AWD and with the capability of switching it off to FWD Only.
2. Fully independent suspension with Disk brakes all around.
3. Unobstructed 8" ground clearance.
4. Xenon Headlights
5. Big Pano Roof
6. Strong structure, can take a very severe hit from behind and the occupants can still "survive" (speaking only for us**). Who would have guessed from such a small vehicle? (Real world data/photos are available.)

Con:
1. ONLY one engine option & it's on the weak side. What it Really needs is a TURBO, damn it.
2. CVT, (can be noisy until broken-in.) I wished it had a normal trans.
3. May not hit listed MPG Until after a LONG break-in period. (Some members have experienced a longER than normal period.)

** I'm only speaking for myself. I will not be responsible for any reckless driving on your part or act of god situations you may find yourself.

I totally agree with MRVR and Paleblue. It is a good SUV especially for the price. I also have the premium package but just not the 4wd and I love it.

I went from an Evo 9 MR and the lack of power was kind of a bummer at 1st, I am sooooo in love with this bad boy now, it has been a challenge at 1st moding because it was a shot in the dark with the Lancer 2.0lt bolt ons, but I think with the guys/gals in this forum we have made a science out of it. I hope you don't buy it expecting an EVO XUV if you go into it looking at what you are getting for the $$$ you will be happy. Good luck in you purchase
