Buddy and I took our 11 y/o boys to their first haunted house tonight. I offered to drive to show off the new car. I had no idea at the end there would be a 65' slide from the third floor to the first. Steel, with a very generous helping of baby powder. I have the black cloth interior. Guess what my interior looks like now?!?
Even better, got called in to.work 5 min after getting home. I wont be home for at least 4 hours.
Even better better? I have a service appt at 0730 to replace a dash piece that developed a bubble.
Any tips or tricks to get this cleaned up easily? Obviously shop-vac is out of the question.

Honestly, DO NOTHING.
I'd leave it as is and have the dealership do a courtesy interior detailing to fix you right up. Tell them the story and I'm sure they'll understand.


NOTE: You may need a new cabin filter after all that baby powder circulating through your A/C.

Good idea about the service dept! They owe me a wash and detail since I picked the car up in the rain.
I couldn't get a good pic of the interior. The LED interior lights wash it out. Sorry.
I dont think I need to worry about the cabin filter. Wasnt running the Hvac at all. Im in NE, its 46 here. I will take a look at it just in case.

 

If the dealer won't/can't give you satisfaction... then there's always this method >

They took care of me. Service manager laughed when I told them what happened. Interior looks new again.
