must people mess with us?

I am pumping gas, and a late 90 era Cobra pulls up and we start talking about our cars. he pops his hood, and has a twin turbo set up.

we chat a bit and I am putting the fuel nozzel back in the pump, and he says, I wannt to race you , but heres the catch, we got to go from a roll not from the dig. I start laughing and said, "let me get this strait, you have 4 more pistons, 3 more liters, and 1 more turbo and you worried about this car out of the hole?" I told him he was smoking crack, and to **** up a rope. then he tells me I'm the ***** for not to race him, I'm like are you serious? get grip. I thought I would share my tale of this evening. It was pretty damn funny IMHO.

Wow that would have been a waste of your gas. The only hope that you might have had is from a dig to 20 lol. Anyway good call on you for not giving the idiot what he wanted.

 

I just could noy believe my ears. Do EVO's Really have that kind of rep, This car would have stomped me, and he was worried, am I crazy?

 

you should have told him
"ok, ill pick the course" and take him for some twisties to put his mustang into the rail. i love my mustang, but its in no way a carver like an evo.

 

you should have said how about we push our cars until it reaches about 40 mph, then hop in the cars and start the race. Pretty funny that he was that afraid of an evo.

Next time someone challenges a race with similar condition, I will accept if he/she we have a second race in which he/she runs around the car twice and then start the race.

 

I dont think corners is what he had in mind. I will be content running a good 12 second pass in Byron and having guys come up and say dude, WTF does that got?

 

get used to it, i am! hahahaha just the other night this SL 55 cut me off REAL bad.....-.- i wasn't going to race it though too much traffic, and he would probably beat me, and than last night some drunk guy with a golf gti or r32, i dunno it was dark out, asked me to race, i just told him "not unless you gotta huge turbo" and i went along my way...hahahhaha

 

i raced an evo once...off a stoplight. i had never acually seen one go full throttle but i talked to the guy out the window n jokingly asked if he wanted to race. evo's rly take off. lol...it got to 60 be4 i hit 30...my puny galant.
