[Off Topic] Perot Museum

Had a chance to visit H.R.Perot's museum the other day.

It has been ages (like when I was just a pup) since the last time I went to a real science museum and this place didn't disappoint.

It brought back memories! And, now I'm able to share it with my wife and especially our little girl!

Yep, those dinosaur bones still look as big as ever!

Now you didn't think I was going to have this thread just about old dino bones, did you...?

Look what else I found in the museum! >

Them wheels!

That's a pretty awesome car.

I think that's the same dinosaur exhibit that came through the Field Museum in the last few years. It was pretty interesting.

Yeah, quite amazing to see in-person too!
The idea of having your own two hands involved in the build process to your very own performance off roader like this vehicle is quite stunning.

is this the building in Dallas literally right next to the elevated freeway? I think I have pasted it like a dozen times, thinking how cool of a building it looks like and never knew it was a museum.

And the Field Museum in Chicago that was mentioned is amazing, I always wanted to get there after watching Ghost in the Darkness and seeing that they had the two Man eater Lions.

Yes sir, it is.
The public parking lot (just $8 per car per day) is directly below the freeway for this museum.

I highly recommend taking the family. It's great place for the kiddos. Lots to see and do in the exhibits.

All 4.5 floors of this building are filled with science and nature topics.

One suggestion -
I'd recommend starting at the 4th floor and work your way down, back to first. Easier that way.
