Hi guys, first time poster, long timer lurker.

Finally, one of my front marker bulbs has burned out. I purchased some of the OSRAM 6000K LED to go in place of them, so they'd have a color hue slightly brighter than the headlights..

Only problem is, I cannot figure out how to remove the old front markers. The access to them is really up in there on the sides, and quite difficult to get to.

Instructions, and perhaps a guide on how to remove/change them would be much appreciated. Don't know if it makes a difference, but this is on a 11 OS.

I recently replaced my front markers with some Philips LED bulbs.

It takes a little bit of wiggle room but I was able to remove them using my thumb and index finger (you'll realize that when you try to fit your hand in that location)

It helped that I had a pair of mechanic gloves that made the grip a lot easier.

Just turn counter clockwise and the should come right out.

To clarify, you're referring to the little marker lights in the headlamp, not on the fender-well, correct?


If so, I changed mine as well. It's just a matter of getting your arm up in there.

Alternatively, I found this image of changing them on a 2011 ASX, so it should be very similar
