Quote: If the wheel arch molding is not a standard accessory then it is understandable that the mud flaps require some modifications. We have to be careful with our statements. There are enough confusions created by the sellers themselves we should not deepen them.
Just to reiterate the differences between the 2011-12 and 2013-15 I attach a few more pictures highlighting the difference. Before you buy the actual item you may want to ask the seller to verify this detail.

this is what got me a set that did not fit - the 2013 flaps i have do NOT fit my 2015. rears do, fronts do NOT.
they don't fit over the curves in the side skirt. its very close, but would look really crappy (IMHO) with a gap if installed.

Could this be a manufacturing defect? I do not recall that there would be a different front fender design across the ASX/RVR/OS platform. Someone mentioned a heatgun "massage" to make the pieces fit. I assume that was also an attempt to correct manufacturing or storage mistakes. These items are quite rigid plastic pieces and could have been deformed after molding due to low manufacturing standards. Could the dealership have different designs for models with and without the wheel arches that the aftermaket industry has not picked up yet?
Anyway, I apologize if my posts were misleading; take my words with the grain of salt then.

No need to apologize - I thought the 2013 ones would work, too .... and I bought them. looking at the part #'s, they are identical for 2013 and 2015.
so the problem is that the ones I got are AFTERMARKET.

So, in the search to save a few bucks, be careful on the aftermarket stuff - fitment may be a crapshoot.

Knowing what I know now, I would have bought Rallyarmor universals. Mitsu official mudguard fitment is great, but they just dont function very well as actual mud flaps.

Rear mud flap reinforcement
The lower corner of the rear bumper is weakened by design (see the highlighted area on the BEFORE picture). It may have some benefit in some minor accidents by preventing damages on the rear quarter panel. It could crack easily if you
a.) installed a mud flap and/or
b.) live in the snow belt, where ice and snow accumulates in the rear arches like these links show:

If you want to clean the wheel arches before parking your car in your garage (or just want to make sure you have enough clearance for turning and suspension travel), kicking and hitting are the most common verbs that can describe what most people do. These activities can crack the rear bumper easily.
I have done a reinforcement shown in the figure labeled "AFTER". There is no way of painting it now or even washing the car now (we had -17F (-27C) yesterday) so, please no comments on the dirty undercarriage. Hope this might be useful for some folks before damage is done on the bumper.
