Looking for the low low look

I currently have the kido coilover kit on my O.S. and am looking for new wheels and tires. I am going for stance/low look and wanted some advice.

Should I get smaller wheels to be lower? Or will I then create a gap between my tire and wheel well which I DO NOT WANT.

Should I stick with the stock 18 size and change tire, bigger or smaller side wall to be lower without losing the no gap.

And also how wide should I go to be flush or a little past the side of my car if the stock wheel width is 7".

(and any offsets I should look into for the wheels)

Thank you in advance, and hope some people can help even though its not a real mod for speed or power.

Do you care if the circumference is the same? It will affect handling, speedometer etc.

Id be willing to go +1 or -1, so to either a 17 or 19 but I dont think that little of a change will affect my spedo that much, its not a drastic change.

It is the TIRE circumference, not the rim size that makes the difference.

I have 20 x 9 with +32. It's pretty aggressive but with the OEM fender flares looks good. I'd stick with 17 or 18. I'm not sure how you could go lower. I think it looks good as is. Have you though about running some spacers? It would bring the wheels out some but some people don't want to use them.

so maybe 18x8 then? and i have used them in the back only to later have to drill out a lufg nut from the cheap aluminum they used to make the spacers, Ill put up pictures later today.

I can't imagine a 20" rim on these things. An 18 would be quite nice. Tirerack and 1010tires have nice wheel visualization tools to see the rims/tires on the car. You could also look at 19" but I suspect tires for that are harder to find and about the same price as 20s. You WILL save a ton staying with 18s. As for spacers, the guys I know who run them use high quality CNCed ones like https://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g3...oducts_id=3118

Doesn't matter if they are cnc'd, people think quality comes with something being cnc'd. I worked in a Cnc shop as a machine operator for two years, it may be a precise cut but that does not make up for what you will see in the pictures. Thespacer I bought used notches instead of a normal bolt end to old onto the spacer ofr the lug nuts.
