Fiat Chrysler must offer to buy back from customers more than 500,000 Ram pickup trucks and other vehicles in the biggest such action in U.S. history as part of a costly deal with safety regulators to settle legal problems in about two dozen recalls.

Not sure if the Execs (or the engineers) at Fiat or Chrysler have developed some kind Alzheimer's...
Because it seems they completely forgotten the whole craziness that happened back in the '70s with the Ford Pintos >>> DO NOT install gas tank between the axle and rear bumper!
Then claim that "It's unavoidable. In some rearend collisions, there may be a possibility of explosion of fuel tank... if struck at speeds fast(er) than the regulations allowed." WTF?
Yeah.. and over 73+ people died by burning to death from being struck from the rear - in vehicles made 'currently' : 2000-2007.
That's just retarded.
- I'm so glad we weren't in one of their vehicles when we were rearended!
Thank goodness Mitsu engineered a solid vehicle!!!
I know.. The news was just briefly reported online.
I'm just glad to share with our group, at least we are clued in about these dangerous problems.
Bet Most consumers/drivers** haven't heard nothing about it.
Is that so? Funny.
Well, we can vouch for Mitsu's structural design and safety engineering (of this CUV) from Actual experience!
**Especially the drivers/owners of those faulty Chrysler vehicles that's effected in these recalls/buybacks. Let alone everybody else who have to share the roads & highways with them!
