Alloy Fuel Door or Not?
So I picked up a NIB alloy fuel door for my 2011 RVR/OS and upon holding it up to the peral white, I'm not sure if it goes well or not. This door: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-2013-GE...-/390414431095 (BTW, the dealer wants over $400 for one here! Crazy!!) What say the people?

Ouch..! crazy even at $112, for a gas cap door.
At $400... that better include some 'extras' something, somethings.
I'd say NO bueno.
Use that money on a hitch, or hitch tray / accessorie(S).

i think the only color that would look good on is silver, so it didn't stick out like a ricetastic sore thumb. might not be too bad on white, but a big nope on dark colors.

I agree. Would be great on silver or grey. I might Photoshop it onto my white car before unpackaging/installing. I am sure I can sell it up here no sweat.

I like the look of the fuel door. I had one in my cart before deciding against it in favor of a hitch instead. Maybe eventually I'll do it. For some reason I couldn't quite pull the trigger.

i think Mercury Gray is too dark for it to look good, IMHO. maybe a lighter gray, but the OS gray is fairly dark.

Looks pretty nice to me! Seems to go with the wheels. I have not yet Photoshopped it onto a white car (or Googled an image). I am thinking I will put it on and then decide.

The white one DOES look pretty good. I think I will go for it. And the mercury grey goes even better I think, especially with the silver trim. I've seen those silver trim pieces for pretty cheap on eBay/Ail/DHGate; unlike at the dealer's where you have to give an arm and a leg.
