going to have to get used to the "cancel warning light button" being on the right in the Infiniti, as opposed to the left in the Mitsu.

Can those external TPMS units be learned by the Mitsu computer? If so, the ones inside the existing tires can be ignored and those external units transferred to any set of wheels being used.

The external units could only do that if that have the same GUID (serial number/code) as the OEM ones. Not likely. Not even sure they are the same frequency and modulation.

I found another option: ITM sensors. The local tire shop can duplicate the Mits sensor IDs with their Senor AID tool. (I should start a business doing this up here...)

Here is an appetizer for you ( and for those, who do not have auto light function):
http://mmc-autoelectric.org.ua/outla...-light-control (allow auto-translate).
Here is the complete summary with instructions you may be able to change:

Have not yet bought the sensors ($69 CAD each). But I am sure considering it...
The auto-light function is great, butt hat is a snoot full of work!

Apparently the 2016 OS can store the codes of two sets TPMS sensors, making it possible to change tires for the seasons without error codes (or programming by the dealership). I have also learned recently (when I changed the dealership to have my car serviced) that some dealerships do not charge for TPMS programming.
