Yeah..
What about living near some big farms and their tractors' dust.
So, that's industrial fallout too?

I take my cars to Krown every fall to get the full rust proofing spray done, but I keep a can of their spray bottle handy as well: https://www.krown.com/products/aeros...and-lubricant/

I did actually notice a RVR drive by me a month or two ago that had a badly rusted tailgate. I guess moisture is getting trapped between the lights and lip of the tailgate. I did blast this area on my car after seeing the rusted tailgate with the spray can and will continue to do this from time to time. I believe this is going to be a common problem, especially in areas with salted roads.

My 2003 Murano still has no rust but the fact that my hood is already rusting from stone chips, I don't think my RVR will last as long. At least the front quarter panels will never rust haha.

Sad, I also have rust above license plate area developing on my 11 OS. I'm reaching out to Mitsubishi to see what's up since I've been noticing it on other OS as well.

I just noticed mine rusted the same as the white one in the photo.

Mine is 2014 model and the rust bubble has accumulated ovenight. Just where the edge of the oepn switch rust bubble has formed at the upper panel. So annoying!

I’m not sure if this will still be warranted. On my under 87,000 km already.

There was a TSB about this I just saw tonight.https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...16851-9999.pdf
