More comfortable seats?

One thing I hate about the Outlander is the fact on how uncomfortable the seats are. Its like youre not sitting straight up but you cant lean back without feeling awkward. Almost like the headrest isn't forward enough.

What have you guys done or what are the options for a better more comfortable ride? Ive heard about Evo seat swaps. Is it literally one for one? Or is custom work needed? I wouldnt be against aftermarket options as long as its not leather and they are comfortable.

Recaro makes some that will work. You better have a gold/platinum Mastercard though. FWIW I like the seats in the RVR/OS

i think the seats are comfortable.

if you want to know what uncomfortable seats are, try sitting in a Subaru Forester ... its pretty much what brought me to the OS.

Evo seats are comfortable, if you fit them - they are not height-adjustable and kind of narrow.

i'm 6'0, 190lbs, and probably at the size limit as far as comfort. i even shimmed them up an inch with longer bolts because i felt like i was sitting in a bath tub. the newer (2015) non-Recaro Evo (Lancer) seats might be a better idea if they fit, because they are height-adjustable.

I've been thinking about trying to swap in some Hyundai Sonata seats myself.
I'm not a fan of leather seats, but the leather outers and fabric inner of the Sonata seats I loved. They've got a lot more support and adjustability in them too.(2011 - 2014, maybe newer)
I wouldn't think it would be too hard, as long as I can get the seat to the frame and power it, I should be OK. It's a "One of those days when I get time" thing. and if a local yard has something I can salvage without breaking my wallet. (for what I'm willing to pay)

Only thing I'd want to add to this conversation is this . you have to make sure that the air bag resistance is the same between the seats your trying to change . Other wise you'll loose the entire air bag system. remember if the air bag light is on, they will not work .
