2013 outlander sport calipers
Well, my rear calipers are shot due to the parking brake recall thing. I just got it in the mail not long ago. Both calipers are seized up pretty well and I need some new ones. The only parts store I could even order them at was O'Reilly's, but they called me today saying the manufacturer doesnt have any and canceled my order. I called the dealer for a price and get this... $568.24 a piece! So, that being said. What are some calipers that will fit the back of my 2013 outlander sport? Itll be a cold day in hell when i pay over 1100 bucks for two brake calipers.

ridiculous, considering how cheap these cars are new.
dealer wanted wanted almost $!400 for 2 front rotors for my Evo MR when i had it. Svc Manager even laughed and told me to just get aftermarket. LOL
the rears seem to be more than the fronts for some reason. ??? $65 at Advance Auto ..... https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/fi...e-caliper-rear

Desperate times call for desperate measures
If you need your daily drive back immediately you may want to go and look around in nearby junkyards (Lancer and 2nd gen Outlander parts in this case compatible, see the corresponding pages from the service manuals attached). Lancers and Outlanders are/were made exclusively in Japan all time, so you may get a better piece even from a wrecked car. Shouldn't the recall take care of this issue? If the failed parking brake caused an overheating and this seized your rear calipers the dealer should take care of it. Am I missing something?

sorry for reviving an old thread, but does anyone know how to compress the piston back into the caliper on a 2013 OS SE? I just had both my calipers replaced under the recall, but need rear pads and rotors. I have done a bunch of brake jobs in the past but the rear pistons will not budge even though they are new. Is there a trick to compress the piston in the caliper because of the way the e-brake is designed?
