I was in the Alderwood mall parking lot and a lynnwood pd k9 unit pulled me over and gave me a ticket for "speeding too fast for conditions". My lawyer laughed at that one and said it will be the easiest ticket he has had to fight in a long time.

The second was about 4 blocks from my house, he said my exhaust was illegal (which is why he initially pulled me over), my tabs were expired by a few weeks and i didnt have a current insurance card. He let me go with a warning. I got my tabs the next day, got a current ins card and the exhaust is staying.

Your lawyer is right, it will be easy to fight. Not just because it is a stupid ticket but because the Alderwood Mall parking lot is private property owned by the mall. Which means that the PD has no authority there unless invite by the Alderwood mall staff, or it is a criminal offense (traffic violations can only be inforced on public roads).

No idea how to get the exhaust one dropped unless you have proof your exhaust is a 50 state leagal one with the blue sheet of paper that comes with some.

Its not illegal, b/c its a REPLACEMENT exhaust and unless it was b/c it was TOO loud I think you are fine. Look at the RCW for the exhaust law.

Ahh, that makes sense now! When you said, "and the exhaust is staying" I thought you meant the exhaust ticket wasn't going to get dropped.
