the early 7 bolts are fun as are the 99+ 7 bolts, there are still alot of benefits to a 7 bolt block

^Jake you bought one? You post pics of it yet? I am in Germany if anyone was wondering or cares. Hollur! Its lots of fun and I still have lots to do. I will post pics when I can charge my laptop. I miss my car. I want to drive it on the Autoban so bad. I would ship it over just to drive it hear, cause I would kill everything over here.

Well I have the same chassis as the Evo 4/5/6, and those engine bays only allow the 7-bolts. Since the 6 bolt faces the other direction, I would need a hell of a lot of work to fit it in. I only know of one who has done that swap, and he sold his car. I still have a way to go (financially) though before I get an engine.

So I bought speakers, an amp, and a deck today, so which one of you can install at a good price?

I could possibly do it, depending on my schedule. I charge $25 an hour for most of my work. After Best Buy refused to install my deck since I didn't have stock mounts, I went home and did it myself (I had only bare wiring since deck was stolen before) in 3 hours. Then again those were bare wires that I needed to wire to a clipped harness, so I doubt it would take that long.

The amp I am not sure about though, I haven't installed one of those before.

Jake, pm me the details on all the stuff you bought and we can just do the install for free in my shop. Like Chris said, you need and aftermarket to stock wiring harness adapter to make things easy. You will also need an install kit for the amp, power wire, fuse block, rca cables for each channel, and all the speaker cable to run to the speakers you bought. You will also need some sort of adapter plate to mount the speakers in the stock location. The holes from the factory are alot larger than a normal 6.5" speaker.

Alright, I will go up to car toys today or tomorrow and get the wires.
