I remember it being in the $500 to $600 range for the installs, that also included installing the pillar pod and I had them make some changes on a few occasions due to it not looking good. Overall it cost a bit, but after everything I'm very happy with it.

Rant for the day


I am sick of the rain. I am sick of not being able to drive, and i mean DRIVE. Getting soaked on the way to class sucks the big one. When I am out of school, I am moving some where that rain is rare.

Anyone know where I can get an alarm installed that is done correctly and don't get charged a ton. It is crazy places are asking $300 plus to just install, or is that what I should expect?

 

For a good shop, it'll be $300-$350 to install plus $200 or so for the alarm. Any extras will be added on top of it. However I do know a guy who have been doing it for many years. He did my Evo alarm and I can give you his number. Just make sure you let him know Alvin sent you and you got an Evo and tell him what you need. I basically saved half the cost when he did my alarm instead of Cartoys. Cleaner install too

I got mine stalled at Illtech and it was $650 total for the alarm and install. From what I understand they have a guy from the actual company (CompUStar) come down and do the install. Plus, with that alarm you have the option of getting the auto start, turbo timer, and remote paging.
