rob and i have been playing socom confrontation. it blows compared to s2. bought my ps3 just to play socom and now i don't even play anymore. total waste of money plus the 80gb version doesn't play s2

 

Yeah, I picked up a ps3 today with scon and its okay. Not even close to s2, but its better than s3/ca

socom the only game you play? I bought it for the headset and the game is okay the controller was different then what I'm used to though. And with the new 1.3 the controls suck even more. Atleast you can watch blurays lol.

 

well i played madden 08 when it came out on here but i went to 360 and just came back.

socom will probably be the only game until killzone2 comes out

 

yeah, i was hooked on s2 for the past 3.5 years. loved that game . you can use any bluetooth headset for the ps3... i'm using a free one ($15 with $15 rebate) . the controller needs getting used to. i get arthritis if i use it too long

 

are any of you on cod? i'm thinking of picking that game up

 

I played s1&s2 and I was hooked also. Was in some top clans on GB, but since s2 nothing has been the same..

COD is cool, but it gets old after a while IMHO

our clan was ranked as high as 109 in the socom servers. we never got into gb :-/. we were a vigi clan so we sucked at demo and extract maps, lol

my bros were hooked on s2 also and when they bought cod they played it for a month and never picked it up again, so that says something about the game...

IMO I like cod4 better then 5, since 5 is back to old school wwII. But I play both. I'm better in cod4 though, recently I've been 3+kdr but overall its only 1.5 from when I sucked in the beginning. But add me, I get down on cod4/5, socrack, gt5, and some LBP. But I hardly play LBP kuz I don't get it lol.
