It's a fact that oil is engineered to come to its intended viscosity once it's reached normal operating temp (180). When you start the car in the morning the oil is at the ambient temp and cannot properly lubricate the motor. Synthetic oil helps though, it's resistant to cold temps. It is not a waste to warm up your car in the morning. 80% of engine wear occurs while the engine is cold.

It doesn't appear that n1nj4 allowed his car to warm up long enough.

I usually do a 30-count before driving. Then I fight my tranny to get into reverse, so that takes another minute of cursing. My car still acts like an absolute biatch if I try anything more strenuous than say getting up the driveway while she is still cold.

F1 cars idle from 4k-10k rpms
Most engine wear occurs during cold starts, hence high zinc oil. It leaves a bit of a lubricant coating on the moving parts.

quick shot after the seibon front grill install and removed some of the plastic pieces while the bumper was off. also installed yellow fog bulbs. will have some more shots after i install some hids

Look into the MR fog light housing for the driver side. It has the real mesh and looks way nicer imo.
