Mitsubishi needs to do to the evo what Nissan did to the 3XXZ's. Lighter, stiffer, more powerful. There is an alternate way to being Eco friendly: smaller footprint.

I'm here for another 2 years. I got a quote on shipping it here, and I figured that it'll cost about as much to get the Evo here than it'll cost to get the Fiat fixed. It has quite a bit of issues...

Also, don't discount the IX BOV for your boost level.
"The APS twin vent BOV features 30 micron hard anodized, T6 billet aluminium body, low friction bronze piston, all stainless steel hardware including spring and Viton 'O' rings.
Vents 100% to atmosphere for a loud whoosh sound."
I thought venting to atmosphere is what caused the idle issues? I dont mind the whoosh noise, but i dont want a decrease in drive-ability for it.
I don't know about the APS, but the Synapse is a good unit. A few people I know on here use it and like it. Plus they pre-test it to 100psi so you'll never have to change it out in the future if you run more boost.
That was the cheapest site I could find it on, btw. Never bought anything from them. I usually buy all my stuff from MAP. (was $285 on MAP)
