Comparison to OEM

Installed (stolen image, was too tired with midterms to take photos)

http://www.tristatebattery.com/produ...roducts_id=975

Cost breakdown:
Tray: $50 from ebay (shipped)
Battery: $64.95
Terminals: $20 (felt stupid paying 1/3 the cost of the battery for 2 posts)
--------------------------------
Total cost: $134.95 shipped, no tax

Additional cost: Battery Tender plus: $43

Car drives better than it has in the past year, the factory battery must have been damn near dead for so long. It actually quite shocking how much of an improvement in driving, idling, pulling and even between shift rpm drop this battery has made.

I have no idea why somebody would pay the $200 some of these tray's are going for, and then $130ish for the Braile (rebranded DEKA) battery.
I want to figure out if/where I can get one of these...and how much they are....
http://www.a123systems.com/products-...rt-battery.htm

right now it seems like they are only being sold to auto and small plane manufacturers....

Better them getting rid of it than bring in an Eco version with hybrid drive IMO.

a good ECO version of the Evo would be ok. The Eco Evo, I kinda like the sound of that. It could run on Electric and E85!

how would the turbo spool with all that 'lectric torque? Switch to a supercharger or use methane for spool?

why not use a new platform for the Evo? Say, bring the new Colt to the states that they're about to release and make an evolution version out of it?
the colt is a much smaller and lighter platform than the heavy current lancer

^so how much longer are you in Italy? Just wondering how worth it it will be to ship the Evo. It sounds like Mikey and Justin both had their Evo's damaged during cross country shipping, so hopefully you don't have any issue.
