lol well u know what.. i can get killer deal for ohlin.. my friend sponsor ohlin.. for motocross racing (dirt bike pro WORC and supercross star) but they say take while to get automotive coliover or suspesion for while..
Quit holding out and hook us up! dbsears and I will each take a set of DFVs...
it was a gradual process, boost kept leaking more and more until it held less than 10 psi. Turned out that it was the internal seals on the compressor housing. When WORKS installed the turbo (White Rabbit 9), they didn't use the Evo 8 specific install kit. As a result, the compressor outlet pipe has no clearance from the starter and kept getting knocked against whenever the engine moves under load, putting serious stress on the compressor housing. 10,000 miles later and the seals finally quit. Of course it took me a while to figure all this out and put the pieces together ... I'm seriously pissed of with WORKS about it too, because they wouldn't even talk to me for 3 weeks, and in the end all I got was "too bad, not our problem, good luck with that". Their excuse is that the WORKS "warranty" only applies to their own products, not other products installed by them. BTW, if anybody has a spare (stock?) turbo lying around I could borrow for a month please PM me. It will take Forced Performance that long to rebuild/upgrade mine, and the Evo is my only car ....
i wish i did, my only turbo is still installed. sry works is treatin you so bad. i never liked works, seems overpriced and never heard a good thing about them. hope you get it worked out

Ouch. That sucks man. Thats why for the few pieces they make that I can't get anywhere else (for same quality/price) I'll buy their parts but they won't be seeing any install money from me anytime soon
.My stock turbo is still on and probably will still be on for at least another year or I would help you out.

Btw Voidhawk...I have been hearing alot of bad things about Works lately. I know on the Norcal forum about 3/4th of the people wont even touch them no more because of very similiar "too bad not our problem" There excuse is "we fired almost everybody and have new employees" Sounds just like some of the Mitsu dealerships. Their parts might be alright but their service is terrible. IIRC didn't they have trouble with your manifold too...thought it was somebody over here?
