I hope you're shopping some of the Forum dealers over on corvetteforums.com, you'll probably find very fair pricing there compared to a local dealership which you can then use for bargaining power. Hell you may be able to find an 08 Z51 still new on the lot. I got mine from corvetteconti.com.
You missed a smoking deal on a blown Z51 08 JSB C6 on CF by about a month. Like 7K miles and they were asking 38k.

There was a super nice 3lt Crystal Red 08 Z51 here in WA for a decent price, but it already sold. I will check out that other corvette forum. You say you purchased one? How you like it?
I have heard of people getting vettes over at Dave Smith too (over in ID). Very sweet setup - you fly in, they pick you up, paperwork is already pretty much done and you are on the road in half hour or so.
... for your mods
I am definately interested in a few of your parts. We'll have to get together soon and talk about it.
dbs - do you have a post with parts for sale? The Buddy Clubs are a friggin' awesome price but I am not a fan of 6-spoke wheels. I might be interested in the NT05s, but will have to get back to you next week or so.
I haven't created a for sale thread yet. If there is something you are looking for send me a PM and I can give you a rundown of what I want to let go.

Looks like next year. I mentioned the SS as it has the LS3 and I was guessing dbs was heading that route. I don't think I would own another Chevy (unless a classic) and especially right now when big brother has been forced into playing...well, big brother.
However, the SS looks impressive for about $30k. I just hope they play things smart and make a profit as it would feel weird if they were owned by someone else.
BTW - congrats on the financing jj. Just make sure you do the homework/research and don't rush into a mistake with the one you were looking at with whatever dealer.
