i'm pretty responsible with my money. my debts aren't bad. i don't have many debts at all. like i said before, i have 3 credit cards, 2 are paid off, and then my car loan, which is almost paid off as well. but i'd be trading that in anyways. so ontop of my $3500 i had down, they would have given me whatever for my car too.

but the thing they said about it, is...i was APPROVED to get a car, but at what monthly payment range. just because of how much i make at work, they said i couldn't afford the payments. that's the only thing holding me back. yeah, i don't make the greatest money at work, but i can still afford it. oh well though. i'm over it now. i just figure i'll pay off my car and keep saving for a big down payment still and hopefully later this summer i can try again.

 

How long have you had the Eclipse loan?

 

i've had it almost 3 years now. and i've had one of my credit cards about 4 years too. and i'm 23, 24 in october. i've had credit since i was about 19...so it's not like all my credit history is recent things.

but like i said, oh well. i'll just be on the lookout for another evo. give it a couple months or so and i'll try again. i'll just have more of a down payment by then.

So.... Owning an evo officially sucks *****. I haven't been able to find a single part in stock that I have ever needed for the car. I need the two seals for the transfercase to the tranny and mitsu is a week out and they are almost twenty bucks for two O' rings. WTF

 

What other parts have you needed that they havent had? That's expected for most transmission stuff at most dealerships. Be happy you dont own an Audi or Porsche. Those same seals would probably cost you 5x that and take anywhere from a week to 3 months. $20 isnt alot for stuff like that. Sorry that you have to wait though, thats never fun.

It makes a mess, but it can do the trick for a short periods of time.

If you haven't already take the msf course. It's really basic but you get your endorsement through them if you pass. I'm sure you don't want a beginners bike like a 250 or 500, so I'd get a f4i or something like that. If you want a gsxr get a k6-7.
