Yea I'll be at the Nov. 19th date, Dec. 3rd, and Dec, 17th...Might as well get a few more track days in before the end of the year...especially for this price!

Awesome!

What tires do you guys recommend for the December track days? I'm debating switching out my NT05's to some all seasons in anticipation of the temperature drop.

This is a good point...I'm still running my star specs but with the colder temps I'm interested to see how they perform...I don't think I'll have time to swap out my tires before the next track day once im back home from vacation so I'm going to have to just go with it and see what happens...I've heard reviews about them having a wider range of operating temps but after seeing the long range forecast for the end of November showing possible highs of 30* for the 19th? this could get interesting!....Track day in the snow anyone?

^^ thats why you gotta cough up and get a 2nd set of rims for different tires. Mind you even with that setup I was too lazy to take switch out the RE01s the other day

As for tires, I really wouldn't use just an all season tire for track days. Granted it will be winter, but you need to stick on the track when your tires are getting hot and slippery. All season and winter tires simply can't handle the abuse. Stick with your good sticky track tires. Give yourself more warmup laps than usual to get your tires up to temp. Going hard too fast on soft summer tires in cold weather and you will be in trouble quick. (Perfect example was a few years back when Jason and I both spun out at turn 2 at PIR on the first lap. I think we both had Falken 615's and the tires were plain cold. Haha.) But running crap tires when your tires are too hot is also trouble.

Keith, you going?

I'm still on the fence due to the weather, but it sure will be interesting. =)
