First TNT Drag @ PIR

Hey guys. Kinda short notice but SUN is the 1st Test N Tune of the season at Pacific Raceway. Weather is kind of a mystery at this point for sunday but they said check there website, FB, or call to see if they are open and track is running. Gates open at 0730 and 0900 track is good to run. I plan on rollin in at 930-1000am if the track is green lighted . Just wondering if anyone else is gonna throw down a quick 30bucks and run a few?

I'm hoping to get a few shakedown runs on the new Talon

Hey everyone. According to their website, their first TNT this Sunday has been officially cancelled.

http://www.pacificraceways.com/index...Test_Tune.aspx

They are stating the first one is now Sunday, March 25th.

That.....was the biggest waste of a sunday. I had one run. ONE. I was there all day. I will never go back for a TNT at pacific. All they wanted to let run were v8's with slicks. I saw a few go 3-4 times while I waited in line only to have a few of us go only to have them switch back to slicks because the "FWD cars are tearing up the track." 2-3 cars blew up causing a few 30-60min delays while the track was cleaned. I understand this was the first day but I saw a clear bias towards cars running street tires or not hot rods. That being said I was very happy with my one run. Solid-excellent launch with a 12.56 @110. My 60ft was pretty slow at 1.8 compared to the 1.5-6's ive run before. I would imagine a few more runs would pull a better time but I guess I would never know. Have a video on my Facebook that my friend posted that I cant pull off or Id post. I straight embarassed a Genesis 2.0T

Sorry to hear about 1 run for sitting there all day. BTW - I know they can be fast, but the above just doesn't sound overwhelming enough. That said, I do like how responsive your platform is to mods!

Agreed. It wasnt my choice but I imagine it was a better race then the 1.8T Passat lined up next to me as well. haha There were a few Vettes out there 12.9'n it up. Wouldve been nice to run them
