I had to bail unfortunately. I hit up a bunch of the locals up North and South and got zero response as heading in. I had to hit up the Costco as the fridge was getting bare, and I only had time to do one or the other.

As a side note, it seemed like most people didn't even remember it was going on. We need to somehow make this hit well for people so they just know to go. We have had success up North as a once a week meet, but usually an evening during the work week and during the better weather months. During the winter it would definitely die down. We also had good hits when it was once a month setup by Justin; everyone would meet on a Saturday @ Alki.

I think every 3 weeks is going to be tough, and it sounds like every 2 weeks was also tough. Any other thoughts on this?

I think more people tend to go to the Thursday night meets at the Landing. I definitely like the meets at the Landing too, but they run too late for us early bird north-enders.

I'll look into the calendar more after I get it updated, but events are starting to fill it up so there'll be plenty of get togethers coming up.

I guess since theres no more interest in the Eastgate meet, we will just merge with the Weekly Thursday meet at the Landing. Its always a good turnout, and im sure most of you guys are aware of it.

Here's more info, just in case you dont know about it.

I thought the Thursday meets were a nasioc thing and they invited evos to join because we didn't do stupid things; are they really a "public" meet?

I think they are semi public as long as people dont do stupid things. Ive been going to them since last summer. There is always a variety of different cars that show up, but i have to admit, it is mainly dominated by Subaru's, since they started this.
They told me its open to all. Just show some respect in the garage and everyone is chill. Security gets especially pissed when car alarms go off, so just be careful of that.

sounds like this one is cancelled but there is a Thursday meet at the Renton Landing. I think that is close to Fry's/Target?

Eh, nearly a 3 hour drive for you unless you take the ferry. Which would take you about an hour or so

I've heard some refer to it as an AWD meet. It would be good to ask the subie people though, cause we don't want to rain on their parade and all.

If you want to go to Sonic, you have a lot longer drive. There are some up on the base on Whidbey and up in that northern area, but most of the meets are further south. We'll probably have a few smaller get togethers around Everett/Lynnwood, which will be easier for you. There is the Deception Pass cruise around the end of August that is usually a good turnout. Just keep an eye on the Pacific Northwest Calendar, or the google calendar.
