Because of a low turn out rate recently, i think it would be best if we make this every 2 weeks. We still need the word to spread around as best we can.

Who: All Mitsubishi's, (any car is invited tho, really doesn't matter)

What: Bi-Weekly Meet/ Get Together/ Show Off

When: 6pm to Whenever (8:30pm?). EVERY OTHER SATURDAY - 3/31/12,
4/14/12, 4/28/12, ect....

Why: To get a steady Meet up/Get Together going on for the Mitsu community. The Subies got these going on and are very successful with a great turnout each week, so why not us too! Honestly, to get better turnouts we need to spread the word around. Let your friends know. Let a random guy with a Mitsu know about it. I'm sure a lot of people will be interested if they have the knowledge.

Where: Eastgate Park and Ride Parking Garage

-If it rains, just park one floor down, so you cant use that as an excuse..
-The parking garage is basically empty at that time. And best of all, we haven't even seen a security guy yet...and lets keep it that way.
-If you got extra parts you need to sell, this is also a good place to do it.

thanks for taking the initiative as some of us were having a hard time figuring out if these was going on each week, meet times, etc. you mention above it is every other Saturday, but isn't 3/30 a Friday (and hasn't this meet historically been a Friday thing?). Thanks!

ah, it is a Sat thing then. Cool. I haven't been yet, and was confusing this with an older Friday meet.

 

Maybe when its warmer out I can make these. Unfortunately, these are on the weekends when I have my 4 yr old son. He likes car shows but not when its cold!

 

Yeah I would be interested in going but I also have my 5 year old son on those weekends... =/ I will go at least once to hand out fliers for the Younker Mitsubishi meet that I will be hosting!! =Þ

 

^seriously people? Get your kids out to these, they are a lot of fun! My kids have been going with me since before they could walk. When they don't want to be personable, having a movie or DS in the car is a good distraction.

 

I'll be driving home from work that day/time. If u have nothing else going on I will stop by in one of my mitsus.

 

You might want to double check about which Saturdays you want. I'm saying this because while this Saturday doesn't have any other real conflicting events, the next two after that have day events. Remember to check the calendar.

The 14th is the ER Dyno Day at Drift office and the 28th is the 3rd Annual Bel Kirk BBQ.

Well those events are more around noonish/during the day. This meet is a little later than most others, so i mean theres no harm in going to both,,, if you want.
