This track is awesome! Not as fast down the straight as PR but way more technical, it pays to know your way around this track, a few blind apex's/crests, but oh so fun!

Here's my shorter highlight reel from the first track day 3-16-12.

There are also a few high speed laps at 8:56 and 13:12 - almost 110mph through turn 10.

This was in damp/wet conditions, cant wait for dry laps.

looks amazing to bad i am on the east coast. The one turn looks exactly like the famous turn at laguna seca other than you are going up through the turn and not down looks like a blast.

 

Looks like a fun track, how far from norcal?

 

Its about 150 miles into Washington State.

Dangit Geoff! I was hoping to run some pacing laps at The Ridge with you so I could follow your lines and pick up some pointers...I'm sure we'll meet up at a track day down there at some point this summer...But yea man have fun out in Packwood...I need to get back out to the AutoX scene too

When are you going?

 

Not really sure when I'm going to be heading down there. I'll have to check the website and see what's going on. It's only like 30 minutes from me so it won't be hard for me to make it on short notice if anybody heads down there.

 

Going to be there this Friday in case any other Evo's will be there. Hoping for more clouds than showers.

I just bought some Michelin Racing rain tires, so I can sign up for track days without being worried about crap weather. But I still need to do a butt-ton of work on my car before I can sign up for a day. But the Ridge is looking sweet.
