Hey all..
Name: Tom
Age: 26
Location: Issaquah
Car: 2013 Evo X MR Phantom Black
Just moved here about 4 months ago from Australia. About 2 months ago I bought my first Evo, and first car with more than 100hp probably haha
I'd been dreaming about having an Evo X since 2008 when I first interned here, and I finally am living the dream. Feel a bit out of place because mine is stock and still has the new car smell. Moving country has diverted my funds elsewhere for now! Already thinking about making the turbo a bit louder...
Definitely looking to meet up and go for cruises because I need to find decent roads. I'm also looking at taking it to the track sometime this summer but I'm taking things a bit slowly because of the power jump. Fastest thing I drove before this was a friends Golf R32 (on the left side of the road
) So far the best drive I've had was up and down Paradise and that was pretty amazing.
See you all at the next meet!

Hey Pacific Northwest!
New girl to the forum and to the car really. We purchased a 2013 Phantom Black Evo X that arrived yesterday from the Los Angeles area. It is "my" car. Hubby drives a 2011 Subaru STi that we both loved. We traded in our Volvo V50 for the Evo, one of the better decisions in life.
Car history for us... moved out here to Oregon from Michigan in 2008 with an Outback wagon and a WRX wagon. We had our 2 English Mastiffs at the time, they were about 4 years old. So, space was our big need. Traded the WRX for a Toyota Tacoma that we used when we purchased our home here and used for moving. Traded the Outback for an Audi TT since we didn't have kids and wanted a "fun" car. Traded the Toyota for a MINI, seats folded down and the dogs were happy in there.... then we find out we're expecting so the Audi went towards the Volvo, the MINI to the STi... and now finally the Volvo for the Evo. Phew... all of that in 4 years time! The dogs are still around, though they're much older now. And our son is 18mo old. All of us can fit in the Subaru, throw the roof box on and our gear travels too.
It works.

Also no hating on the STI as they are both great cars.

I don't have an Evo but I have been into Mitsu's for about 10 years. I am completely obsessed over the Evo viii yellows, wish the lightning yellow came in the ix though as I like that body style better.. or maybe they did, just rare?.. I'm getting bored of my Scion and need a more respectable daily driver I guess you could say.
