1050 miles, 2 evo's

My wife and I packed up the family and drove all the way down to Anaheim... DISNEYLAND B*TCHES! Its like heaven for a 7 & 8 year old and its a great way to keep me from bugging the crap out of English about my car.

along the way... I kept an eye out for any/all Evo's... I saw a grand total of 2. and both of those were in LA, one was a wingless white X, the other was maroon... also wingless.

I did notice however that the tail lights on a lexus look a heck of a lot like ours... anyone tried to swap them, see if they fit?

We drove last April to DLand in the Wife's 335i, that was a h3llish trip. About 10pm just outside of Medford hit a large SOLID piece of metal shrapnel that demolished the driver side aftermarket 19in wheel and tore up the undercarriage of the car. This was all while passing a semi and going about 70-75mph, wife was driving at the time and I was half asleep and so was my daughter. Wife did a great job keeping the car in control cuz I about shat myself having no control of the situation. Had to get towed into Medford and spend the night and wait till Les Schwab opened up. Ended up getting a bling bling chromed out wheel to get us back on the road and off to DLand all the other wheels are black, got there a day late.

Needless to say we went back in September and flew instead. Which is what we are going to do again in October when we go back.

Glad your road trip was uneventful!

BTW, CA roads are horrible!!! Massive potholes galore!

Saw a pair of yellow 8/9's in LA on the way out and saw what looked like the beginning of a meet at a mall in Stockton. One X there, dropped, black wheels... along with a Subaru.
