Exclamation ***scammer alert***

All,

This is a warning for all buyers and community members. I've had the misfortune dealing with this person, something I truly regret. I recently purchased HKS Hipermax II's from this seller. Prior to purchasing I had asked this person to guarantee the quality these were in. I was told and reassured several times that these coilovers weren't blown and that they weren't used for more than 7k miles. During the day of purchase I met with the seller, he brought the item without the spanner wrench or lock collar tool. Unfortunately I did not have the tools either. I did a visual inspection and didn't see any fluid leaking. A few days later I was able to locate a friend who had a tool that would allow me to release the lock collar. The first thing I found was the dampers were completely blown. I've made more than several attempts texting and calling the seller. To my surprise he's not responding. Obviously this guy knew what he was doing and scammed someone outta $750.00.

Have a friend or another number contact him for his other parts. Meet up and confront him about it. No reason to be violent or anything but tell him what you found and make him take care of it.

thought about that already, not sure what this would really accomplish. more than likely he wont have the 750 cash i already paid. i'm also sure since this dirtbag hasn't responded he's purposely avoiding me. so other than giving him a personal *** whooping im not sure what i'd actually be able to do.

Did you get his license plate number. If you have emails or any other way to verify that he said the coilovers were in good condition you could file a case in small claims court.

I know this doesnt help but a hammer, a flat tip screw driver, and a couple taps = coilover wrench.

Sorry about your misfortune, karma is a **** though.

Spoken by the guy who replaced a set of hubcentric rings with giant black *** rings? Yea, that was funny business (sarcasm)! Spent hours trying to figure out why the hubcentric ring would be made from such flexible material.
