Moving to a new place, need internet!

Roommate and I are moving to a new place in Redmond and need internet...

Anyone have any amazing info for either getting a good deal through Comcast or getting faster internet than Comcast for the same price?

I hate how expensive and bad internet here is...considering Amazon, Google, and Microsoft all have a large stake in the area you'd think it would be better offerings

Or if you work at Comcast and can give me the hookup...

Thanks!

Parts of Redmond have access to Verizon FIOS. http://verizon.com/fios

FIOS is farkin' expensive though. Comcast we can get their normal internet for $30 a month or the slightly upgraded one for $40. We aren't looking to bundle phone or TV unless it truly saves money as we have netflix and hulu and neither of us watch TV enough to need it

The best connection I can get in Duvall is plain old DSL. Consider yourself lucky to even have choices!
