TPMS Question

Hey all, have any of you guys around here bought the following programmer?

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...oven-work.html

If not is there any interest from anyone if I purchased one and offered to program sensors for anyone here?

from what i understand that programmer clones your existing tpms sensors so you don't have to reprogram the ecu at all. You would need to buy a set of sensors but the programmer will then wirelessly download. I am still a bit out for this but wanted to feel the interest as last time i did the math the initial investment will be like $600 if i buy a programmer and sensors.

Are there no TPMS sensors that will fit non-OEM wheels?

its not that will fit from what i understand its if you stick with say oem or aftermarket sensors you would need to have the ecu reprogrammed by the dealer. with this solution your cloning the ones programmed stock and can make as many copies so that if you have a couple sets of wheels or summer/winter setup you don't have to have it reprogrammed each time. The ecu can only be programmed for one set of tpms sensors at a time.

Well dont you have a set of tpms sensors on the wheels you have on the car already? all you have to do is take it to then and theyll reprogram it and itll mate to your car. i dont think just putting them in your trunk will work said other people on the forums because it requires kinetic energy for them to work
