Install MR gauges in 05 EVO VIII

A friend upgraded his gauges and left me his stock set up. Now i need the harness for the gauges. Is there anyone that can help with this that is local or have any knowledge of how to install these in my car? As well as all that will be needed? I know they are missing the harness plugs. If you know where i can get some that would be great?

My advice would be to not install these gauges. I did the same thing to my Evo back in 2005 but the real issue is finding the parts for these gauges when something breaks. Most dealerships don't carry them and worse things like the oil temp sensor only come with the gauge meaning that its $90 if you need to replace either. That's if you can even find the parts. Much cheaper in the long run to get an aftermarket setup.

Get an aftermarket setup. The OEM Evo IX MR gauges are POS if you ask me.

How do I know, you ask? Well I do have an IX MR and I got rid of them ASAP.

agreed thank you both for the advice. I looked into the radio relocation kit and the upper counsel gauge pod. I know rex speed sells one that will fit 52mm to 60mm gauges. or just buy the 52mm tripler from STM. by the way happy new year too all.

Try to get a gruppe-s panel for it with the radio relocation kit. Looks super clean!

If you plan to take the car to a circuit (road race) its better to have the gauges in the center console. the A pillar gauges force you to look around them.

Do you have the link for those?
I already ordered the stuff from STM. But you never know changes happen all the time.
