continental extreme contact dws. they're good for daily driving wet and light snow conditions. Decent in the dry as well. I haven't tried them out in the mountains yet, I ran blizzaks for that.

^ same tires. they do OK in the snow, you can get around and such, but that was also on hard-pack. i'm sure in soft stuff they wouldn't do nearly as well, but i also have them for the daily driving reason

Michelin X-Ice. Been up to the Hood several times and never a problem. Mileage warranty to boot!

I know someone in the focus community who had the Continental DWS. They're pretty good tires! He liked them in the snow as well.

I'm still deciding.... will purchase and mount late November. I'm between Dunlop Winter Sport 4D's and Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4's. Being that I'll be mostly around home on the Sound, I figured I should go for a winter performance tire that also has an advantage on snow and ice instead of sacrificing the dry performance I want. This will be the first time I'll have dedicated summer and winter sets!!
