Question Flywheel Turning

I read some recommendations on this forum about having an Evo flywheel turned. Apparently Mitsubishi does not recommend turning the Evo flywheel. In some of the posts I read folks were having their flywheels turned with good results. The only information I could find regarding the amount removed during the resurface process was .003 to .0065 inch. I took my spare flywheel to a local shop and they ended up taking .010 inch off the surface. I am curious to know the experience of other Evo owners who have had their flywheels turned. How much did you have removed? How was the performance of the clutch after the resurface? FYI I am planning to use the Competition Clutch #5152-2100 in my Evo. Thanks for your input!
