The six speed kills this car even on the road race track.
At the drag strip she burns thru the first three gears literaly. First is obsolete, second spins right thru and third is when she gets going. At that point it is just brute power that gets her the time she has today.
Some of those issues will be resolved for the next event.

Sorry, thanks for posting, I just saw this!!!!!!

When are you seeing full boost by & how does this compare with a Evo 8 with the same mods?

I believe with EMS, cams & headwork a Evo 8 will hit full boost by 3700rpms with a stroker & 35R. This is from a AMS set-up.

I am trying to understand the differences with the MIVEC head vs not having it.

Granted your car does not have CAMS yet, but I would like to review and get your opinion on how much more spool-up can be improved upon with this set-up & MIVEC vs no-MIVEC.

Would it be realistic to think you could improve spool-up by 200rpms at get full boost by 3500rpm?

Also, could you overlay a dyno graph of a Evo 8 with similuar mods?

I understand how busy you are, so thanks in advance for you help, as I really appreciate it.

Thanks-Big Boost
